Celebrated Horde assassin, Hellkite, fights against the Rebellion until her friend dies by her actions, causing her to go against those she once called family and seeking those she hunted—the rebels, hopefully they won’t kill her first.

The Torvé Messor are hunters graced with death’s magic, specialized in returning demons and monsters to the endless Dead Abyss, and overseen only by the all-powerful Alpha of the Horde. Hellkite has earned her place at the top of the Torvé Messor order through death, pain, and grit, but none of that seems to be making any difference as the Rebellion continues to plague the land and unleashing more of the demons from the Dead Abyss.

When her last mission goes awry, Hellkite goes against orders. The defiance cost her as it leads to the death of her friend, Hellkite’s world begins to spiral. Riddled with guilt, Hellkite begins to question everything she ever knew. The deeper she dives into her friend’s final mission the more distorted the truth becomes until she and her Torvé family break into the Alpha’s vault. In the vault, Hellkite finds the world is heading to destruction, all orchestrated at the hands of the ones she trusted most. Hellkite will have to quickly unravel the secrets of the vault's relic before the world is consumed by the Dead Abyss.
