Hellkite, death’s perfect reaper, is sent to investigate mysterious disappearances in the Saltwoods, but, as every clue points towards the monster hunt being a smokescreen for a larger conspiracy, secrets begin to surface, fracturing all allegiances and causing Hellkite to choose between her heart and alliances, before creatures straight out of Caribbean folklore, the loup-garus, devour everyone.

The Last Phi Hunter — folklore monsters, hunter order, dark quest

The Tainted Cup — clue-driven fantasy mystery, conspiracy, monstrous threat

The Jasad Heir — hidden identity, rebels, enemy-line tension

When countless people disappear across the Saltwoods, mysteriously without a trace, Chief Kyros Harrel is left with no options but to ask for help from the one man you never want to owe a favor to, Arebos the Alpha of the Horde. The Alpha is the only man who holds the reins on the Torvé Messor.

The Torvé Messor are hunters graced with death’s magic and specialize in returning the demons and monsters to the Endless Dead Abyss. Hellkite has earned her place at the top of her order, through death, pain, and grit. The Alpha sends Hellkite along with Mortis to investigate and get a chance to see what Kyros has hidden away from the Horde.

As the investigation unfolds, nothing makes sense as a larger conspiracy begins to form. As a spy works in the background against her, Hellkite goes against orders and stays to help. Mortis decides to stay with her, but this is a strain on their already difficult relationship, since Mortis is the Alpha’s heir and destined to rule the Horde while Hellkite is a Torvé Messor. The convoluted investigation, the rebel spy infiltrating her order, and the consequences of Hellkite’s choice reveal a darker plot has been unfolding in the
shadows.

Sides will be fractured as choices lead to bloody consequences and redrawn relationships.
